Subject: Usual Notional Increment
Kindly refer to your memo No. Estb/P-132/2914, dated 30.05.2008, the subject noted above.
2. Finance Department observes that as per policy of the Punjab Government, the facility of notional increment has been extended to the civil servants who retire on or between 1st June and 30th November of the year vide this department’s notification No.FD-PC-10-1/78(P.II), dated 03.01.2002. This policy is operative with effect from 01.06.2000 and not retrospectively. The retiring employees on or after 01.06.2000 are entitled for award of notional increment at the time of retirement subject to the condition that they have not completed the stages of their pay scales.
3. Further necessary action may be taken accordingly.
