Subject: Travelling Allowance during Training
Kindly refer to your letter No. DAO/SGD/HM-173 dated 05.01.2019, on the subject cited above.
- The case has been examined. It is advised that there will be no change in the admissibility of the daily allowance for each day of absence from head quarter as result of training / course and it would remain the same, if non-availability of boarding or lodging are confirmed / certified by the department / authority as clarified vide policy letter dated 26.03.98 (copy enclosed). The notification dated 29.06.2017 regarding enhancement of the number of special dailies from 3 to 5 and ordinary daily from one to two is meant for those officers / officials on tour outside their head quarter for performance of their duties. Further necessary action may be take accordingly.
