Subject: South Punjab Re Allocation Allowance
I am directed to refer to your letter No. SO(E&A)(FDSP)1-1/2021/RW dated 25.05.2021 on the subject cited above and to state that the case has been examined and annotated reply of the queries is as under:

i. | Whether the South Punjab Re-Allocation Allowance is admissible to the officers/officials who are posted in the South Punjab Civil Secretariat Departments by transfer? | South Punjab Re-Allocation Allowance is admissible only to the officers/officials posted in South Punjab Secretariat by the S&GAD only. |
ii. | Whether the South Punjab Re-Allocation Allowance is admissible to those officers/officials posted in the South Punjab Civil Secretariat Departments from the Attached Departments, field formations and Autonomous Bodies? | South Punjab Re-Allocation Allowance will be admissible to those officers/officials who are posted by S&GAD and drawing their pay from the Payroll of Secretariat Departments in light of para-3 of the letter of even No. dated 11.12.2020 (Copy enclosed). |
iii. | Whether the said allowance will be admissible to the Director General (Extension, Research & Production), Livestock & Dairy Development Department, South Punjab and employees of his office, who are posted from field formations? | Finance Department has already clarified the issue vide letter No. FD.PR.12-1/2020(P-I) dated 22.06.2021 (Copy enclosed). |
