Subject: Schedule of Wage Rates
Please refer to your letter bearing No.DAO/JNG/Payroll-1/CD-137 dated: 30.11.2024 on the subject cited above.
- Attention is invited towards Notification bearing No.SO(L&P)MW/2024 dated: 05.09.2024 according to which minimum wage rates of wages for unskilled adult & adolescent workers employed in all industrial and commercial establishments in the Province are defined whereas the Notification issued by Finance Division vide No.F.No.1(2)R-5/2022 dated: 27.08.2024 is applicable to all civil employees of the Federal Government as well as the civilians paid from Defence estimates including contingent paid staff and contract employees against civil post in Basic Pay Scales on standard terms & conditions of the contract employment.
- It is pertinent to mention here that Para-02(i) of the terms & conditions the Notification No.790-1135/DGA/WM/PRIAT-2/Estt dated: 29.01.2024 prescribed the Pay & Allowances as per Project Pay Scale-2, lump sum pay Rs.30,000/- per month of the post for the employees of the said project. Hence, you are advised to ask the administrative department to approach the Government of the Punjab, Finance Department in the instant matter under Para-19 of the rules of business, 2011.
