Subject: Redemption Rejection of Contingent Bills through ESP Portal
As the Redemption & Rejection Check lists have been implemented on Employees Service Portal (ESP) in all the Accounts Offices of Punjab. These check lists with their brief descriptions have been uploaded on this portal. This portal is run on browsers i.e. Google Chrome, Mozilla Hotspot, Microsoft edge etc where both internet and SAP connections are available.
The path of this portal is 172.19.1.238. Training in this regard has already been given to each District Accounts Office at division level during the month of February & March, 2023 successfully. The reporting of redemption & rejection of bills on ESP is being monitored by this office w.e.f 01.04.2023 as committed in these trainings by each District Accounts Office. But it has been observed that most of the District Accounts Offices are not using this portal during redemption/rejection of bills in the SAP system. This act does not reflect the clear picture of redemption & rejection of bills in the SAP system with Portal.
3. The Worthy Accountant General has felt displeasure at the poor performance of DAOS who are not working on ESP for redemption & rejection of bills. In this regard, a zoom meeting will be chaired by worthy Accountant General Punjab tomorrow 16th May, 2023 at 09:00 am in the conference room of this office. All the District Accounts Officers of Punjab are hereby directed to attend the zoom meeting at the above mentioned date & time and ensure the reporting of redemption & rejections of bills through ESP.
