Subject: Qualification Allowance
Will the Deputy Accountant General (TM) Office of the Accountant General Punjab, A.G. Office Complex, Turner Road, Lahore, kindly refer to his letter No.TM-I/2-3A(IV)/2016-17/651 dated 16.02.2017, on the subject noted above.
2. The case has been examined. Administrative Department / Attached Department may sanction PhD and M.Phil to the officers in BS-16 and above whereas DDOs of the officials in BS-1 to BS-15 may sanction the said allowance in light of policy letters No.FD.SR-I/10-6/85 dated 28.04.2014 (copy enclosed) and No.FD.SR-I/10-6/85 dated 12.05.2016 (copy enclosed).
