Transfer of Public Account Receipt in District Authorities to Provincial Account – AG dt 10.01.2022

Subject: Public Account Receipt
Please refer to the subject noted above and circular letter No. BI-3(120)AGP/2021-22 dated 21st November, 2021 issued by Government of the Punjab Finance Department, Lahore. (Copy Enclosed)
- As the DEAP & DHAP are the successors of defunct District Government (Account-IV), therefore, in pursuance of Finance Department circular memo. No. IT(FD)3-4/2002 dated 27th August, 2002 and subsequent letter No.BI-3(120)(AGP)/2017-18 dated: 02.04.2018, balances of District Education Authority(Account-V) and District Health Authority (Account-VI), pertaining to Public Account Receipt and Consolidated Fund Receipt, are transferred to Provincial Government Account-I (Non Food) through a bank advice on month to month basis.
- The Finance Department further clarified the procedure vide its letter BI-3(120)(AGP)2017-18 that all the District Education Authorities and District Health Authorities in the Punjab are directed regarding Account-V & VI that all Public Account & Consolidated Fund Receipt be transferred to Account-I Provincial (NF).
- The Finance Department vide his above mentioned letter has again directed that all outstanding payments may be transferred from District Education Authority (Account-V) and District Health Authority (Account-VI) to Provincial Government Account-I (NF) as prescribed, under intimation to this office.
- This issue with the approval of Additional Accountant General, Accounts.
