Subject: Provision of Utilities
I am directed to refer to the above-mentioned subject and to say that the Governor of the Punjab has been pleased to sanction the facility of Electricity, Water and Sui gas at the residences of all the Administrative Secretaries at Government expenses with effect from 1st October, 2007. This facility will also be admissible to the Secretary (Services). Secretary (I&C), Secretary (Regulations), the Secretary (IPC), and the Secretary (Public Policy & Change Management) in the Services & General Administration Department. The monthly expenditure involved at the residence of the officer on this account will not exceed the limit of Rs. 30,000/- per month.
2. Such facility already admissible to the Chief Secretary, the Additional Chief Secretary, the Principal Secretary (Finance & Taxation), the Chairman, P&D Board, the Senior Member Board of Revenue Punjab, the Principal Secretary to Governor and the Principal Secretary to Chief Minister will continue as such without any upper limit.
