Subject: Powers Delegated
No.FD.SR-1/9-2/2023. In exercise of the powers conferred under section 23 of the Punjab Civil Servants Act, 1974 (VIII of 1974), Governor of the Punjab is pleased to make the following amendments in the Punjab (Civil Services) Delegation of Powers Rules, 1983 with immediate effect:
AMENDMENTS
In the Punjab (Civil Services) Delegation of Powers Rules, 1983, in Appendix ‘A’, under the heading POWERS OF APPOINTING AUTHORITY:
1) under the subheading “Leave”, at Sr. No. 19, in clause (vi):
- for the expression “EDO”, the expression “CEO” shall be substituted; and
- for the word “Departments”, the word “Authorities” shall be substituted; and
2) under the subheading “Pension”, at Sr. No.20, for clause (iii), the following shall be substituted:

“CEO of Education and Health Authorities may grant pension to civil servants drawing pay in BS-17 and below.”
