Subject: PhD Qualification Allowance
I am directed to refer to this Department’s circular letter of even number
dated 09-08-2002 on the above noted subject and to state that the Competent Authority has been pleased to decide that henceforth the benefit of Special Science & Technology Allowance mentioned therein shall also be extended to those faculty members who hold Ph.D. degree in Social Sciences as well.
2. In pursuance of the above decision, the conditions prescribed in sub paras (a), (b) & (c) of para 1 of the circular letter referred to above shall stand superseded.
3. These orders shall come into force with effect from the date of issue of this circular letter.
