Subject: Personal Ledger Account
Kindly refer to your letter No. SO(E)Z&U/1-14/2015(PLA) dated 06.05.2019 on the subject noted above.
2. Finance Department agrees to change the operators of the non- lapsable Personal Ledger Accounts of District Zakat Funds in all districts, sanctioned vide No. SO(TT)6-2/93-Pt-VII dated 21.03.1998 in the name of all Chairmen, District Zakat & Ushr Committees in the Punjab, to be jointly operated by the Chairmen District Zakat Committee and District Zakat Officers of the concerned districts.
3.The Personal Ledger Accounts shall henceforth and with immediate effect be jointly operated by the Deputy Commissioner / Administrator along with District Zakat Officer of the concerned district for disbursement of salary to Zakat paid staff and release of Zakat funds.
