Subject: Pension to Adopted Child
I am directed to refer to your office letter No IOT/DGK/111 dated 14-11-2020 and to enclose a reply received from the Section Officer (SR-III) Government of The Punjab Finance Department, vide No.FD.SR-III- 4-244/2020 dated 23-02-2021.
I am further directed to state that your view point that “the claimant Anum Jabbar is not admissible for the grant of family pension as she was not declared a legally “adopted Child” during the life of deceased pensioner” is confirmed by The Finance Department.
