In adherence to the directives outlined in the CGA Office letter No. 683/CGA/Admn-1/140/Pension/Misc/2017 dated 29.06.2021, the competent authority has mandated stringent guidelines for the submission of pension cases to the Office of the Accountant General Punjab. These guidelines aim to streamline the process and ensure accuracy in document submission.
Key Requirements for Pension Papers Submission
- CSR Form-25 (Revised-2016): Pension cases must be accompanied by the CSR Form-25 (Revised-2016) without any amendments or alterations. It is crucial that Page No. 2 of the CSR Form-25 starts from serial No. 07 (Annex-A), and Page No. 2 of the Family Pension Form 25-A begins from serial No. 03 (Annex-B).
- Document Legibility: All pension papers and documents must be legible and free from any kind of cutting or alterations to ensure clarity and authenticity.
- Multiple Copies: Four sets of all required documents must be submitted with each pension case to facilitate processing and archival purposes.
Accessing Pension Papers
To facilitate easy access, pension papers can be downloaded from the designated path on the shared network: 172.19.2.2-Temporary Share-→AAG Admn-1-→Pension CSR-25. This centralized approach aims to streamline document retrieval and ensure uniformity in submission.
Compliance and Communication
It is imperative that all concerned parties, including District Accounts Offices, strictly adhere to these guidelines to expedite the processing of pension cases. This initiative is part of ongoing efforts to enhance efficiency and accuracy in pension administration.
Conclusion
By implementing these directives, the Office of the Accountant General Punjab aims to uphold transparency and accountability in handling pension papers. The adherence to standardized procedures not only facilitates smoother operations but also ensures timely disbursement of pension benefits to eligible retirees.
This office order is issued under the authority of the Assistant Accountant General (Admn), ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and compliant with the prescribed guidelines.
