Subject: Pending Liabilities
I am directed to refer to your letter No. PR-15/Mayo/HM-1080-1082, dated 06-11-2024 on the subject cited above and to say that the Rules 17.16, 17.17 & 17.18, PFR, Vol-I should be read collectively and the claims of pending liabilities of previous financial years can be paid from the current financial year allocations provided the Department concerned gets relaxation of Rule 17.18, PFR, Vol-1 from Finance Department.
