Subject: Marks for Local Residence
In order to ensure the implementation of a uniform policy for recruitment of educators in all the districts in the Punjab, the sliding scale criteria mentioned in letter No. SO(S-IV) 2-34/2008 dated 29.12.2008 may be implemented in letter and spirit in all the districts. However, in urban areas where no village exists, the interpretation of this letter will be as under:-

2. Those districts where Tehsil based criteria have been observed, they may advertise the same pattern as enclosed in which the posts of educators in Lahore district have been advertised.
