Subject: Mandatory Requirement
No. SOR-III(S&GAD)1-10/2007(P). In exercise of the powers conferred under section 23 of the Punjab Civil Servants, Act, 1974 (VIII of 1974), Governor of the Punjab is pleased to direct that notwithstanding anything contained in any rules made, or any notification or order issued under the Act, a civil servant who has attained the age of 58 years shall be exempted from the mandatory requirement of training for promotion in all the functional units under the Government.
2. The notification of even No. dated 15.03.2010 is hereby withdrawn.
