- Instances have come to the notice of this office that Leave Title Applications submitted by the Gazetted Officers through their controlling DDOS are not processed vigilantly. Leave title applications forwarded by the Administrative Departments in respect of the Gazetted Officer have been found prepared/verified and signed by the Senior Auditor or Assistant Accounts Officer concerned and AO/DAO/AAG were not shown the cases and bogus leave title admissibility certificates were issued.
- Accountant General Punjab has taken serious notice of the lapse on the part of the dealing officials/officers and has directed that, in future, leave title admissibility certificate should be prepared and verified only in the light of the Revised Leave Rules, 1981 and be signed by the Accounts Officer /Assistant Accountant General or District Accounts Officer concerned. In case any deviation of the instructions is found, strict action will be taken against the defaulter (s) under the rules.
