Subject: Lady Health Supervisors
SO(B&A)1-40/2022. The Governor of the Punjab is pleased to accord sanction for enhancement of Fixed Travelling Allowance (FTA) w.e.f. 04-07-2022 from Rs. 150/- per day to Rs. 250/- per day, for maximum 24 days in a month, for 622 Lady Health Supervisors (LHSs) who are not provided the vehicles for field monitoring subject to the condition that the expenditure of the said allowance will be met from the existing budgetary allocation of PFC share Into Account-VI of respective District Health Authorities from where LHSs are currently drawing their salaries.
2. The said allowance will not be admissible to the;
- Lady Health Supervisors (LHSs) under suspension.
- Those LHSs who have been made OSDs or who have been directed to report to the Primary & Secondary Healthcare Department on the charge of inefficiency/misconduct or indiscipline.
- When they are on leave beyond 90 days, extra ordinary leave, study leave or training abroad.
- The referred allowance will not be counted towards pension and commutation / gratuity.
