Subject: labor of Forest Department
Kindly refer to your letter No. B&A/Acctt/ALV486/A-1-34/1794 Dated 11.03.2025, on the subject noted above.
2. Finance Department agrees to open 49 Nos. of DDOs bank accounts, in terms of Rule 9(1) of the Punjab Treasury Rules read with Rule 2.2 of the Punjab Subsidiary Treasury Rules under titled as “DRAWING AND DISBURSING OFFICERS OF THE PUNJAB FOREST DEPARTMENT” in the Bank of Punjab (branchless banking) regarding payment to daily wages labor as per detailed list attached.
3. The bank account shall exclusively be used for payment of remuneration to laborers hired on daily wages and operated by DDOs of the respective districts.
