Advance Increment for Arabic Teachers for Qualification of MA B.ED – 27.11.1997
OFFICE MEMORANDUM
Subject: Increment for Arabic Teachers
A meeting on the cited subject was held on 21st November,1997 in the Office of Additional. Secretary (Expenditure), Finance Department, and it was decided that the Education Department may submit its views on demands of Arabic Teachers within a week.
2. It is submitted that the Education Department vide notification No.SO(Confidential):S-I-13/90 dated 20th June, 1990 promulgated scales of pay/benefits for various categories of teachers. This notification inter alia prescribed qualification for their placement in BS-14 with 1/3rd in selection grade in BS-15. Copy of notification annexed as ‘A’.
3. Post promulgation of this notification, Elementary School Teachers as well as Arabic Teachers are no longer eligible to advance increment on acquiring/possessing higher qualification.
