Subject: District Accounts Office
It has been observed that the cases are referred at random to the Finance Department for clarification without quoting any rule or Govt. instruction on the point at issue which shows that such cases are not properly examined by the addresses. All the District Accounts Officers / Treasury Officers, Lahore are, therefore, directed that they should not refer any case to this department in a perfunctory manner. All the cases should be disposed of under the existing relevant Rules and Government’s instructions. In case any departmental authority is not satisfied with the observations raised by the District Accounts Officer / Treasury Officer concerned, he may be advised to take up the case with the Finance Department through his Administrative Department.
