Subject: Dearness Allowance 1982
Please refer to your memo No. DAO/BWP/GAD/1204, dated 18.11.1982, on the above subject.
2. In this Department’s circular letter dated 28.8.1982 it has clearly been stated that the Dearness Allowance granted w.e.f. 1.7.1982 will be admissible to all those who were on leave including LPR on 1.7.1982. This Allowance is not admissible to those who retired on 30.6.1982. Accordingly, the Dearness Allowance shall be admissible to all those who are on leave including LPR on 1.7.1982 and thereafter.
