House Rent and Conveyance Allowance to the Doctors residing in Hostels dt 16.03.2013

Subject: Conveyance Allowance
I am directed to refer to the subject noted above and to state that competent authority has decided to pay House Rent Allowance to Doctors residing in hostels of Public Sector Hospitals subject to the condition that Doctors / Post Graduate Trainees / House Officers (whoever resides in hostel) will pay room rent as assessed by C&W Department and average utility charges as assessed by Energy Department. However, doctors residing in hostels situated within the work premises are not entitled to Conveyance Allowance as per prevalent policy.
