Please refer to your office letter No. DAO/HFD/ADMN/2107 dated 04.02.2016, on the subject cited above.
2. Pay in case of granting higher scale to a civil servant, in all types of case shall have to be fixed at the next higher stage of the higher scale as provided in Rule-9 the Pay Revision Rule 1977. Attention is also invited to words, Government of the Punjab, Finance Department letter bearing No.FD.PC.14-10/2014 dated 19.05.2015, according to which the right of option under Rule 10.3 of the Pay Revision Rules 1977, is also available for such civil servants. You are therefore advised to issue the Pay Slip of the above named officer accordingly.
