Uniformity in Transfer of Public Account Receipt from District Authorities through bank advice -AG dt 10.04.2023

2. In pursuance of the Finance Department circular memo. No. IT(FD)3-4/2002 dated 27th August,2002 and subsequent letter No.BI-3(120)(AGP)/2017-18 dated: 02.04.2018, receipts pertaining to “Consolidated Fund Receipt” [CFR] and “Public Account Receipt” [PAR] lying with District Education Authority(Account-V) and District Health Authority (Account-VI), are transferred to Provincial Government Account-I (Non-Food).
3. It has been observed that different methods/practices have been adopted by District Accounts Offices in the Punjab for transfer of PACF Receipts.
- Some District Account Offices are transferring the said amount through cheques.Â
- Other District Account Offices are transferring through Bank Advice.
3. In order to ensure uniformity of procedure, all DAOs in the Punjab are directed to transfer the receipts, mentioned in para-2 above, through a Bank Advice.
