Subject: Sanctioning Authority for the Casual Leave
I am directed to refer to the subject noted above and in continuation of Finance Department’s Notification issued vide No.FD-OSR-II-9-10/2012 dated 31st October, 2012 and to state that it has come to the notice of the Government that a doubt has been arisen in some quarter about the terms “Immediate Incharge” requires mention of its BPS & nomenclature or otherwise.
2. It is clarified that the sanctioning authority “Immediate Incharge” means the authority “who can grant casual leave to a civil servant”.
