Subject: Private Secretaries
I am directed to refer to the subject noted above and to state that Governor Punjab has been pleased to revise the rates of Special Pay admissible to Private Secretaries and Personal Assistants of the Punjab Government excluding the Private Secretaries and Personal Assistants serving in higher grade in some institutions, i.e., Punjab Public Service Commission and Lahore High Court, w.e.f. 01.07.2015 as under:

| Personal Assistants to Ministers | Rs.400/- p.m. | Rs.800/- p.m. |
| Personal Assistants to Chief Secretary, ACS, Secretaries, Additional Secretaries or any other officer of lower rank | Rs.320/- p.m. | Rs.640/- p.m. |
- The terms & conditions for grant of Special Pay, as applicable at present, will remain the same.
