Subject: Administrative Allowance

I am directed to refer to the subject cited above and to state that the Governor of the Punjab has been pleased to grant “Administrative Allowance” @ Rs.14,000/- p.m., by designation to the following officers w.e.f. 01.11.2016:

1. Chief Secretary
2. Additional Chief Secretary
3. Chairman, P&D Board
4. Senior Member, BoR
5. Chairman, CMIT
6. Members, BoR
7. All Administrative Secretaries to Govt. of the Punjab
8. All Special Secretaries to Govt. of the Punjab  
9. Members, P&D Department
10. Members, CMIT
11. Registrar, Lahore High Court
12. Senior Additional Registrar, Lahore High Court 
13. Additional Registrars, Lahore High Court 
14. Members, S&GAD

2. Administrative Allowance is subject to the following conditions:

• The said allowance shall not be admissible during leave for four months or more than four months including LPR.
• The said allowance will not be counted towards calculation of Pension/Special Additional Pension.
• The said allowance will not be admissible to any other officer of any Department/Office/Institution except those mentioned above.
• The said allowance will be discontinued on posting against any other post.
