2. It is hereby intimated that the Honourable Chief Justice Lahore High Court Lahore has ordered in Crl.Org.No. 597-W/2015 in respect of Murawat Hussain Gardazi etc dated 19-12-2016 in Para-2 that all pensioners are required to submit Life Certificate duly attested by Gazetted Officer at the concerned District Accounts Officers of the concerned District as well as in the Office of Accountant General if required in order to make the procedure of payment of pension in smooth way and this certificate is required by the concerned bank or the concerned District Accounts Office after every 3 Months.
3. All Accounts Officers / District Accounts Officers are hereby directed to comply with the court’s order in letter and spirit and release the payment of arrears as per schedule given by the Finance Department, Notification No. FD.SRIII.4-41/2008 Government of the Punjab, Finance Department dated 07.10.2016 after obtaining Life Certificate from all pensioners as well.
4. Moreover, all the District Accounts Officers are hereby directed to submit their comprehensive report regarding payment of arrears to 85 years old pensioners to make a faithful compliance of the Court’s order in letter & spirit.
